Where do the political parties stand on nuisance phone calls?

Politicians have taken an interest in the issue of nuisance calls over the last few years – it is an issue that their constituents often raise with them. On 25 March 2009, 64 MPs signed an Early Day Motion which amongst other issues on silent calls urged the Government to enforce Ofcom’s regulations more strictly. We feel sure that these politicians will support our campaign for the public to be able to opt out of political phone calls.

We will be shortly asking each party to give us a commitment that they will respect your wishes if you register and ask them not to call you. We’ll let you know what they say!
